Summer Volunteer Opportunity

The Orange County Regional History Center's Adventures in History Summer Camp is a great way to earn community-service hours, and it's an excellent opportunity for future teachers.

Our camps run May 31 August 4, 2022, for ten weeks SHIFTS: Volunteers must be able to work one full week of camp at a time. Shifts are Monday Friday from 7:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m.
DUTIES: Volunteers assist teachers and children with camp games, crafts, activities, breaks, and museum exploration while following all classroom rules and serving as role models.

DEADLINE & REQUIREMENTS: Register online and email a teacher's letter of recommendation to Diane.Masciale@ocfl. net by April 29. Volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation and complete a background screening, required by Orange County and the state of Florida, at least four weeks prior to volunteering.
