Course Registration for 2022-2023

Students have received their registration cards and copies of the curriculum guide through their Language Arts classes. Please review the available information with your child to ensure that they carefully consider their course options for next year. 

This year, students will be able to register for their courses through Skyward using the instructions found in the link below. Please note that students will not have access to change the courses that they have been preregistered for (core classes). Students must register for a minimum of 7 credits, and it is critical that they also select 3-4 "alternate" courses in the case that they are not able to be placed into their first choice of electives. Students will also have the opportunity to complete this process over the next two weeks in the Media Center during their Language Arts classes. Online registration will close on Friday, February 18th at 3:00 pm. 

LMHS will be offering a recently added career pathway programs that are not currently listed in the curriculum guide. The program and Course descriptions are listed below:

Incoming 9th Grader Registration Information

If you will be in the 9th grade at Lake Mary High School for the 2022-20223 school year, the presentation below contains some valuable information regarding the registration for classes and the selection of electives. 

This presentation will be shared at the Incoming 9th Grade Orientations at LMHS on Thursday & Friday, February 3 & 4. Additionally, a (current) 8th Grade Parent Night will be held at LMHS on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 6:30PM-8PM. Come out and see all that Lake Mary HS has to offer!

General Registration Information

Registration Requirements

Three (3) Proof of Residency Required: 

  1.  Current utility bill (water or electric) or initial order for service
  2.  Driver’s License (www.hsmv.state.fl.us), Auto Registration or   Voter’s Registration (www.voteseminole.org)
  3.  Living Arrangement:
    1. Owned Residence – warranty deed or homestead exemption (www.scpafl.org)
    2. Rent or Lease – current lease, rental agreement, or notarized letter from landlord.
    3. Families Residing with other Families – SCPS Form 1312 must be completed, notarized, and attached with supporting documents requested on form.  The school can provide you with this form.

 Student Records Needed:

  1.  Withdrawal Form (previous school)
  2.  Transcripts: current grades or other academic history
  3.  Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form 680) – available from   any health office or physician in State of Florida.  Seminole County   Health Department – 400 W. Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL.,   407- 665- 3000.
  4.  Birth Certificate
  5.  Physical (First Time entering Florida public school) – physical exam   must be completed within one year prior to enrollment.  Health   form must be signed and dated by physician and who results of   examination.  Cannot be a simple statement from a physician.
  6.  If applicable – current IEP/EP, Psychological/Placement Papers

Extenuating circumstance not covered above may require additional documentation.
